How do I add an automation to my emails?

To add an automation to you emails you must first create one, in which case you will have to go to:

Smart Mailer ------------> List Manager ---------> Automations --------------> Create new automation

Once you are creating the automation you have a few options available to you:

            1. You are able to add a name for your Automation

2.You are able to select the list you want to influence with your Automation

            3. You are able to choose 1 out of 3 events to trigger your automation:

                   - On Subscriber Added
                   - On Link Click
                   - On Email Open

            4. The Action depends on which Event you have chosen

                   - On Subscriber Added there are the following actions:
Delete from a selected list ( Info! This action will delete subscribers from specified lists.)
Delete from all lists ( Info! This action will delete subscribers from other lists except the current list where subscriber is added.)

                   - On Link Click there are the following actions:

Copy to all other lists ( Info! This action will copy subscribers to selected list.)
Move to all other lists ( Info! This action will move subscribers to selected list.)

                   - On Email Open there are the following actions:

Upon receiving an email ( Info! This action will move subscribers to selected list if they received an email campaign.)
Open opening an email  ( Info! This action will move subscribers to selected list if they open an email campaign.)

            5.  From here you can choose to with list or lists you want the action to take place on

            6. Depending on the Event you have chosen i.e.:

                   - On link Click - Redirection to a URL
                   - On Email open - To choose the specific email in mind

When you have saved your Automation, it will appear at the automation window. It will display the code you can use to place within your emails, as well as an edit option and a delete option

After that you can simply click on " Show Shortcode" copy it and place it within your emails that you are sending
